The EPA’s Office of Environmental Enforcement (OEE) ensures that major industrial, waste and wastewater operations in Ireland comply with environmental law to ensure that they don’t endanger human health or harm the environment.
We also regulate the supply of clean drinking water and we oversee the environmental protection work of local councils.
How to make an environmental complaint
The EPA is committed to protecting people and the environment from the harmful effects of pollution. As part of this commitment, we provide a simple system for members of the public to make complaints about environmental pollution, disturbance or damage.
EDEN is the EPA's online web portal for Local Authorities and licensees to communicate with the EPA on numerous applications.
